This notice explains how SmartFACT Labels handles enquiries submitted through this website. Updated 25 September 2026.

What we collect and why

The form asks for your name, email address, company, an optional printer model and a description of your labelling workflow. We use that information to assess your enquiry and respond. Our basis is our legitimate interest in answering requests about the product. We do not use this form to subscribe you to marketing emails.

Where the information goes

Your enquiry is stored in our application database with its contact details encrypted. Only people operating the service who need to handle your enquiry should access it. Our hosting provider processes the stored information for us. An email service may deliver a notification to the team; the notification contains a reference, rather than the details you entered. We do not sell your enquiry details.

How long we keep it

Enquiry contact records are scheduled for deletion after 90 days. If you become a customer, any information needed to provide the service is handled under the arrangements agreed with you. Separate infrastructure logs and backups follow their operational retention periods.

Cookies and measurement

The enquiry form and sign-in use necessary session cookies for security and error handling. Public marketing pages record aggregate daily counts for page requests, sample downloads and enquiry steps. Those counters do not retain an IP address, browser identifier or visitor profile. Infrastructure logs may contain connection information. We use a temporary, protected network identifier to limit repeated form submissions.

Your choices

You can ask to access, correct or delete your enquiry information, and object to its use. You can also raise a concern with the Information Commissioner’s Office.
